No
No but you can call in but still need to wait until others are served who are already being served. I think you can just use exit door and they get to you as soon as finished with a customer.
🤔 I don't know... I would like to think all of their specialties were available daily. It's just a matter of getting what you desire:an eclair, before they're sold out for the day...
Yes, the earlier the better.
I believe they make them thought out the day so best to ask next Time you are in a particular store and ask the manager of that location.
They are the best.
They have always been cash only and with the fantastic business volume they have, there is no reason to change and start paying a fee to the credit card companies which lower their profit margin.
Yes
Yes they do. We drive from Northern KY to buy their donuts. They are amazing!
Ok thanks I'm home got to get some
Wow wow donuts. The yeast are the boom a must have. The rest of the donuts are yummmmmmmy. Know the lines can be long and it is cash only. Did I say cash only?? They do it all but the yest are WOW. Even warm is the super yummy. Oh I have seen Cops here many times.
Love long's! They have a fantastic selection and they always taste good! Never have had a bad experience here. Make sure to bring cash though!
Longs has let me down since this Covid thing happened. The long johns got smaller and I mean almost half their size and too much cream in them. I hope they get it together and soon
I got there late (shortly before closing) and they still treated me very nice...speaks a lot to their customer service. Staff was amazing. David was so nice. I'm not from the area and heard this was THEE place to go. The bar was set high and they exceeded my expectations.
Never has hot yeast donuts anymore😒 Also its time to start excepting debit and credit cards its 2020 already.
Always one of my first stops when visiting home
Sorry I wasn't impressed with this place at all. I understand that it's supposed to be the best donut place in Indianapolis. But there isn't really a big selection to choose from. I understand that it is a small "mom and pop" place. But I have been in other similar places. At least one that is even smaller !!! And had a better selection.
It was later in the day so the donuts weren't hot but they were good. We were visiting from PA and were told we HAD to go to Long's for their hot, melt in your mouth donuts.
Staff very friendly. While social distancing was in place lined moved very orderly
Of course I had to buy 2 dozen.. going through with drawls from longs isn't good..lol.. so happy they opened back up.. all I ask is please open more stores.. 2 isn't enough.. 😏💗
I used to stop at Long's bakery coming from school back in 68! It was good then and it's still good today. My aunt and uncle lived on the west side of town but I went to George Washington so we had to go downtown and then transfer that's when I found out about this wonderful bakery.
I'm not from Indy so I had heard how legendary their donuts were. Pretty darn good but I'm not sure if they have anything on Krispy Kreme. I'd cheat on my diet and go back. As everyone knows donuts are the devil. 😁 Thumbs High! 👍
These are the best donuts in the world them yeast will make you go behind the counter and slap everybody
These are the best donuts I've ever had, period. They melt in your mouth. Bring cash! Long's is a treasure. The employees have been polite when I've gone there, they just weren't bubbly and smiley. The donuts are reasonably priced and I've never had a donut that even compares to there yeast glazed donuts.
Best donuts in Indy. Hands down, no contest. How many other donut shop have raps written about them? The answer... NONE.
Long's is by far my favorite doughnut shop. Though I've heard the lines can be long, they always go quickly whenever I come. Great quality, service, and I love how they aren't expensive either.
My Grandmother brought me here when I was about 5 or 6 and I can remember that today because it was the BEST DONUT I ever had!!!!! They are FRESH, MELT IN YOUR MOUTH, BEST TASTING, VERY AFFORDABLE, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. If you've never been there you have got to Give It A Try.... THANK YOU LONG'S for so many years of YOUR WONDERFUL BAKING!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!
Phenomenal. My friends took my wife and I when we visited Indianapolis last week and it was phenomenal. Yes, you should be prepared to wait outside in the heat due to the social distancing parameters allowing a limited number of people in at a time. Also there is no indoor dining (at least not currently) and they only take cash. Otherwise the doughnuts and cookies are excellent and very fairly priced!
Indianapolis own home town bakery, one location been around since our great grandparents learned to walk and still serving the best baked goods in marion county.
Pre-ordered fresh donuts and didnt get it and they wouldn't make it right horrible
Who doesn't know that Long's has THE BEST donuts in town...hands down!! 10 stars!! The yeast...blueberry cake....cream filled Long johns, apple frys, cheese Danish, the sugar cookies....I could go on!!!😊
This place is an institution. Every time I visit home this is the first place I stop for the best donuts in the country. Period. Plenty of places have tried but there is nothing like a Long's glazed yeast donut.
I say they have the best donuts. Especially early in the morning when they're fresh
I am from the area but moved away years ago, so I hadn't stopped by Long's in a ... well, long time. With restaurants reopening, I decided to stop in for some donuts from my childhood. Aside from the socially-distanced line, it was the same I remembered from my last visit. The yeast donuts are definitely their best, but only when fresh. To be honest, I have found no good way to reheat them without the dough becoming gummy. So only get what you'll eat in a day or two. All of the other filled donuts are okay, but nothing spectacular. Overall, Long's donuts are very good for reminiscing about simpler times, but (and this may be blasphemous) I think there are better donut shops out there for the price (and that also take credit card).
We live near Lebanon. Have been craving Longs since they opened. Today I said to myself, This is the day. Yummy
They have the best doughnuts ever , and good fast service. I love this place. No better bakery every !!!💕💕💕👨🍳👨🍳👨🍳
It had been years since I had Long's. I won't make that mistake again. They are delicious!
If you have a sweet tooth you'll love this place. Best donuts in town. Always a line of people waiting to buy bakery items, but worth the wait. Takes about 10 minutes to get to the order counter. Cash purchases only. Open seven days a week.
It's Longs donuts! If you haven't had Longs do yourself a favor. You taste buds will thank you.
First time visit. Pretty good donuts for Saturday at 8pm. It was busy. They were out of a few things. Apple fry was my favorite. Haven't tried the jelly yet. I was told they're better when fresh. Still yummy and very sweet. Went well with coffee too.
Donuts and assorted pastries are amazing . Food is definitely worth you’re money, time, patience . Only thing stopping me from giving this place 5 stars is the customer service (sometimes) is lacking. Some rude employees attitudes but it’s all masked by those damn good donuts . Hire better help keep up the good recipes.
OMG I can’t believe they sold me an old cake! No one ate it, so hard like cornbread! Not sure why! Maybe because of the virus and they were closed and lost out on money! I am sure the cake was made months ago it tasted like freezer burn! Never will purchase a birthday cake from Longs again!
Ridiculous. Seriously ridiculously good. Your taste buds demand that you stop here for donuts and coffee. From Applesauce Cake donuts to Gators to Fries (like a cinnamon bun donut) every single thing I have tried has been excellent. Krispy who? Dunkin what? Bring cash as they are cash only.
Lord knows I dread the 20min. Drive, having to be there EXACTLY at opening time..but that's the only way to be first to get fresh hot & delicious donuts😂 Worth it as always.
We always love going to Long's Bakery, they have the best baked goods, we stop in Everytime we come thru Indianapolis.
This place wins for best donuts. For about 65 years Theyve been in the same place at 16th & Tremont since 1955. PLEASE NOTE: LONG'S IS A CASH-ONLY ESTABLISHMENT. Also please have patience, especially during this COVID19 pandemic. The employees are very dedicated to their highest-quality craftsmanship, and they work as fast as they can. The average visit will only be about twenty minutes, depending on the hour of the day, they have their rush times. They open very early, and there's usually a line at open. DO NOT BE DISRUPTIVE, DO NOT RAISE YOUR VOICE, BE NICE! They have a hotline to IMPD, who you can bet are more than eager to remove trouble, and there should never be a reason to call them. The folks running the place obviously are doing it right, considering how long they've been in business. Parking is street-only, again, pack your patience. YOU WILL GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH! If you've never gone, go!
Best freaky donuts ever!!! Worth the drive. Beautiful day Jennifer&Scott out for the fluffy clouds sunshine and of course best breakfast ever!!!
I was asked by my oldest daughter to please pick up 2 dozen doughnuts before I drove back home 2 1/2 hrs IT WAS SO WORTH IT♥️
Never been to heaven but I come pretty close eating a hot Yeast donut!
Awesome doughnuts yeast doughnuts are made fresh daily if you get them warm they taste even better. They have various brownies like the peanut butter chocolate (shown), German chocolate , and two others. long johns are good. The only thing that is expensive there is a gator which cost $3 for a short one and $6 for a large one. The apple fritter taste good they now have Cinnamon and glazed twist. It is normally busy there (it's because it taste so good)
Long’s Bakery is where you can find some of the best pastries in all of Indianapolis and Indiana the long lines outside shows and tells it all definitely gotta pick and choose them original yeast glazed donuts the chocolate and powdered ones also the fried apple cinnamon buns is tasty too its best to go early in the morning because that’s when they serve the glazed yeast donuts fresh, soft and warm right out of the oven!
Delicious donuts! If you're in Indy, this is a must. Be prepared to go early in the day, or be prepared to wait in line. Long's is extremely popular, but this is moreso because their donuts are so good. I would recommend the apple fry, cinnamon donut holes, and the blueberry cake!
I love the donuts here. I always get Yeast. My other favorites are the cinnamon fries, apple sauce cake donuts, blueberry cake donuts, the decorative cookies with sprinkles, chocolate cake donuts, I love when they have the pumpkin spice cake donuts in season as well, the donut holes are good too. So many choices!!
Not sure how I have lived in the city so long and never had Longs.. I can see why this is such an Indianapolis staple. Absolutely Devine! I am so glad that I chose to get a "sampler" of what they offer, as well as a dozen glazed yeast to compare to all the others, A+. Longs is definitely now a family staple.
Delicious fresh donuts, almost every kind you can think of! Can't find it - call ahead and they'll make it to order!!!
Best donuts in Indy in my opinion. Without a doubt best donuts for the price. If you are ordering them for your office or something to pickup and take in the morning or for a weekend event I highly recommend ordering them the night before. Then you are guaranteed they won't run out of what you want and all you have to do is walk in pay and leave.
Great as usual!!!! Line move fast and they are enforcing the social distancing. Love this place.
Long wait sometimes, but well worth it! Every other donut shop in Indianapolis should just shut down, they can't hold a candle to Longs. If you're really luck, you'll get a batch of hot donuts, right out of the fryer. If you're with more than one person, I highly recommend getting more than one dozen, heck, I can take out a dozen by myself! Great eats!!!
I love that despite their power being out, they served me with a cheery voice and can tell they genuinely love their jobs
The donuts are absolutely great!! They are a very classic kind of donut, but the dough stays crispy and the creme filling is fabulous. Definitely worth a trip. The prices are also very low! They only take cash, so bring some $
